The Church-wide Picnic is scheduled for January 26 at noon at Kiwanis Park’s Fiesta Pavillion (see the map below). Bring lunch for your family and enjoy an afternoon at the park with Dayspring friends. We will again be holding a baking competition children and adults alike are encouraged to bring your best home-baked treats for everyone to enjoy. We will also have tug of war, potato sack races, and much more family fun! We hope to see you there.
Souper Bowl Sunday is. February 2. Before the big game, children in BeTween will share information about hunger in our community and will collect monetary donations for a local food bank at both the 9:00 and 10:30 services.
It’s time again for Parable of the Talents. We will review the Parable in Sunday school on February 9. Children can sign up on the Patio on February 9 and 16 to use their talents to create something to sell or share with the congregation. Selling and performing will take place on Sunday February 23 after the 9:00 and 10:30 services. There is no cost to sign up! If you have questions, please email Emily. This event is open to all children so join us as we put this well-known parable into action to do good in our world.
Calling All 4th-6th Graders! If you are interested in serving as an acolyte please email Emily. This is an important way that our children can give back to Dayspring and also be an important part of the worship service. Please email Emily to get trained and added to the schedule.
Vacation Bible School is coming! Mark your calendars for some important dates. Rocky Mountain Railroad VBS will be held from June 8-11 from 9am to noon for Children ages 3 (by 1/1/20) to entering 6th grade. Cost is $35 for the first camper and $25 for siblings. Registration for church members and returning campers will open on March 1 and space is limited so you don’t want to wait.
