Join us this summer for a week of fun, games, music, science, and adventure as we explore that “life can be wild, but God is always good.” This program is for children who were 3 years old by 1/1/19 up to children who will be entering 6th grade for the 2019-2020 school year. Today, on the one year anniversary of the March for Our Lives, we observed Gun Violence Awareness Sunday. Shane Claiborne and Mike Martin, authors of the book “Beating Guns: Hope for a People Weary of Violence” spoke during both services. Orange ribbons displaying the names of those who lost their lives in a mass shooting in the US were tied around trees. In the afternoon, the forge arrived and those affected by gun violence had a chance to convert a gun into a garden tool. One of the tools was presented to be used in our Giving Garden. ...
